Nestled on a sunny plateau at 1,300 m, Villars is the gateway to the TVGD ski area. Known for its elegant yet friendly atmosphere, the village has been attracting mountain lovers for over a century. From iconic slopes like Grand Chamossaire to its sunny terraces, Villars offers varied skiing, breathtaking views, and plenty of activities for the whole family.

Our favorite slope
Grand Chamossaire is Villars’ iconic run, offering a varied and panoramic descent perfect for intermediate and advanced skiers. Enjoy wide, flowing turns with occasional technical sections, all while taking in breathtaking views over the Villars valley and surrounding peaks. It’s the perfect run for combining thrills, technique, and scenery—ideal for a morning ski or an afternoon descent with friends and family.

Snowpark Bretaye
Bretaye Snowpark welcomes all levels of enthusiasts of boxes, rails, kickers and mini half-pipes. In a unique setting, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy breathtaking views while perfecting their style, making this spot a must-visit in the TVGD area.

Discover Bretaye – Beginners’ Zone
On the Bretaye plateau, reachable by cogwheel train from Villars, the Swiss Ski School Snow Village welcomes children from age 3 in a safe 200 m² area. Featuring magic carpets and gentle slopes, it’s perfect for first ski steps. Group lessons run Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with private lessons available by request. A cozy chalet and terrace let parents relax while the little ones learn.
