Ski & Luge by Night in Les Diablerets
Every Thursday evening, from mid-December to early April, Les Diablerets comes alive under the night sky with its illuminated « Willy Favre » ski slope and the famous 7,2 km luge run. These nocturnes offer a unique winter experience : ski under the stars, sled after dark, enjoy fondue or hot drinks at the Mazots, and embrace alpine tranquillity. It’s the perfect event for families, couples or friends looking for fresh, memorable mountain moments.
Activity Overview
- What : winter activity involving night skiing or sledging
- When : every Thursday evening from 25 December 2025 to 19 March 2026 (6:30 to 9:30, depending on weather conditions)
- Where : in the village of Les Diablerets, at the departure point of the Diablerets Express cable car
- Ski slope : « Willy Favre » slope, illuminated and redesigned for greater comfort, with a vertical drop of approximately ≈ 550 metres
- Sledge run : 7,2 km, separate run, secure but not illuminated
Getting There
- Take the Diablerets Express cable car to the summit (Les Mazots)
- Hire your sledge from one of the partners listed below
- If you ski, use the illuminated slope for the descent
- At the end of the trail or at Les Mazots, relax with a glass of mulled wine or fondue
Practical Info
- Season : every Thursday evening from 25 December 2025 to 19 March 2026 (6:30 to 9:00, depending on weather conditions)
- Tickets : available online, at ticket machines, or at TVGD sales points
- Magic Pass 25/26 : valid on the Diablerets Express cable car
- Age guidelines : Nocturnes from 6 years
- Pricing nocturne : Adult, Youth, Senior - CHF 25.- / Child - CHF 15.-
- Sledge hire pricing : depending on duration, type and partner selected below
- Safety notes : sledges with runners only, plastic discs or snow tubes prohibited. Dogs and ski/snowboard boots not allowed.
- Sledge equipment : head torch recommended, Davos-type sledges available for hire from partners
- Ski equipment : full ski equipment, head torch not required
